The good thing about your website layout is that if you have a theme or template, you can experiment with it and see what works best. 2. Poor Copywriting
The written words on your website are crucial to your success. If the words do not provide adequate information about your offering, are not designed to sell your products/services, and don’t engage viewers, they are losing you money. Before you even start building the page, you should define exactly what you want your prospect to do. Do you want them to subscribe to your newsletter or comment on your post? 4. Lack of Lead Generation
As a money making tool, a website is only as good as it can generate leads. Whether those leads come from search engines or word of mouth, your website must be able to capture them and nurture them into clients or sales.

The other form of lead generation is the nurturing approach. In this approach, you ask the prospect to sign up or subscribe and give you their email address. When you have this, you can send them newsletters, discounts, and other marketing materials to keep them engaged.
